Reframe Aviation was founded in 2013 by an enthusiastic, motivated and young former Airline CEO as a response to a market saturation of same-old approach to getting stuff done in the airline and aviation business.
Reframing the airline activities means being proactive on identifying low-cost solutions in any activities, matching the right aircraft belonging to owners and lessors to the airline looking for the perfect equipment to operate its routes. It also means offering a complete package of technical, operational, financial assessment, legal, customs and logistics abilities to complement the specific know-how required to run an aircraft package sale/purchase project from A to Z. All done for a reasonable fee and in full confidentiality for the client.
Our vision is to make air travel possible and affordable to anyone on our lovely planet, no matter the location or money situation.
Our mission is to improve consistently and continuously the way airline and aviation activities are performed, in order to reduce costs and achieve efficiencies with the ultimate goal of transferring the savings to the passenger.
Reframe Aviation’s objectives include a maximization of resources of the aircraft and engines currently in operation worldwide, by distribution of capacity of older aircraft to lower-income markets, assurance of proper maintenance and operation of such aircraft, as well as sustainability of the product cycle so that at the end of their life the aircraft are properly torn down and recycled.
We bring to the battle an always-positive can-do attitude, a large array of experience and specific knowledge and successful partnerships with world-class aviation organizations such as MROs, repair shops, engineering organizations and lessors.
Although only 7 years old, Reframe Aviation has broken ground on several projects with much appreciated results, as follows:
- Alitalia Project- our customer has purchased from Alitalia a package including the last 4 McDonnell Douglas MD82 aircraft operated by the Italian carrier, all MD80 remaining inventory of spares and tooling (over 3500 parts and 200 tools), as well as 2 JT8D engines and MD80 simulators. The project involved Reframe Aviation as exclusive Manager with several duties included, among which the technical parts of inspection of the aircraft, records and spares, inventorying, packing and shipping the aircraft parts and tools, the operational parts of ferrying aircraft across the world (changing titles and registrations), preparation of sales and marketing presentations as well as construction and negotiation of Letters of Intent and Contracts for sale or lease of the assets.
- Cessna redelivery- our private aircraft owner customer required our support in preparing a Cessna Citation I for ferry flight, including identifying an A&P mechanic, preparing the workscope, inspecting work and providing representation for a safe departure, all completed in time and satisfactory for the customer.
- B737-300 Positioning flights- Reframe Aviation undertook a project requiring the aircraft transport of 2 (two) B737-300. Romanian Registration was obtained, aircraft were prepared for flight, ferry permits were obtained and positioning flights were performed safely and on-time, to the customer’s full satisfaction.
- BAE AVRO 146-RJ85 Positioning flight- Already a success story on the market for the B737-300 fast positioning, Reframe Aviation was quickly approached by the owner of a beautiful 1999 RJ85 which was requiring a positioning flight for delivery to new customer. Project was safely and succesfully implemented with involvement of CAMO organization which provided recommendation to Romanian CAA.
